Since December 2019 Dr. Akhil Vitthalrao Nakhate is working as assistant professor at Chemistry Department, Bajaj College of Science Wardha. Previously from April 2018 to November 2019, He worked as Assistant Manager at Johnson Matthey India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. He received Ph.D degree from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (2011-2016 Guide: Prof. G. D. Yadav). He did post-doctoral research in the area of process development from lab scale to plant scale with Prof. M. Lakshmikanatm at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (2016-2018). He has published 13 international publications, which are cited by >150 times (h-index 7). In the year 2010-2016, he was awarded with Junior Research fellowship & senior research fellowship by NET CSIR Delhi, India.
