Dr. Venkateshwarlu, postdoctoral fellow, recently worked with Prof. Roderick Melnik at the M3AI® Lab and MS2Discovery Interdisciplinary Research Institute at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His research interests include microfluidics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphase flow, drug delivery, complex fluids, rheology, and wastewater treatment. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, under the supervision of Prof. Ram Prakash Bharti. His doctoral thesis was titled "Hydrodynamics of droplet generation in two-phase flow through a T-junction microfluidic device." Subsequently, he joined as a project fellow and worked with Prof. Prateek Kumar Jha at IIT Roorkee on a project titled "modelling and simulation for drug delivery problems and multi-Layer formulations for drug dissolution." He has been recognized with several awards, including the best poster award during the institute research day hosted by IIT Roorkee, as well as the best oral presentation award at the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Roorkee. In the year 2022, he received international travel support from SERB, the government of India, to attend a conference abroad. He earned his master's and bachelor's degrees from NIT Warangal and NIT Calicut in India, respectively.
