Timeline: 2026
Project Type: Learning & Development Strategy; LMS Implementation
The Construction Company was experiencing rapid growth but lacked a centralized Learning & Development function. Training was inconsistent across departments, onboarding varies by location, compliance tracking was manual, and managers had limited visibility into employee development.
Developed a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy designed to establish the company’s first enterprise learning ecosystem. The solution includes a learning needs assessment, organizational analysis, LMS implementation strategy using TalentLMS, role-based learning pathways, standardized onboarding, safety and equipment training, leadership development, and a measurable evaluation framework aligned with business objectives.
Standardized onboarding across field and office employees
Reduced time-to-productivity for new hires
Improved safety and compliance training completion
Centralized learning resources within TalentLMS
Increased consistency in operational procedures
Established measurable learning analytics and reporting
Created a scalable learning framework to support future company growth
Before developing the Learning & Development strategy, a structured discovery process was proposed to identify organizational priorities, workforce capabilities, operational challenges, and training requirements across Heights Ridge Construction. Findings from this phase would inform the learning strategy, curriculum design, and TalentLMS implementation plan.
Executive and stakeholder interviews
Employee surveys
Job shadowing and field observations
Document and process review
Learning systems and technology assessment
Performance and operational data analysis
The proposed Learning & Development strategy translates discovery findings into a scalable enterprise learning program aligned with business objectives. The solution establishes standardized onboarding, role-based learning pathways, leadership development, compliance training, and performance support within a centralized TalentLMS environment.
The learning program was designed using established adult learning and instructional design principles to support both office and field employees. Learning experiences were organized into role-based pathways, combining self-paced modules, instructor-led training, performance support resources, and on-the-job application to promote knowledge transfer and long-term performance improvement.
The proposed learning ecosystem organizes training into structured learning pathways aligned to employee roles and responsibilities. Content is delivered through TalentLMS using onboarding, compliance, technical training, leadership development, and performance support resources.
