Refusal of Service
Dragon’s Den Fursuits reserves the right to deny customer service for any reason to be determined by Dragon’s Den Fursuits. This includes if the commissioner is rude, threatening or otherwise unreasonable.
Harassment, determined by Dragon’s Den Fursuits, is not tolerated in any way. Should the commissioner display harassment of any kind, Dragon’s Den Fursuits reserves the right to drop the project. Warning will be given except in extreme circumstances such as threats or sexual harassment. Commissions cancelled by Dragon’s Den Fursuits will be partially refunded based on how much is completed/in progress. Please see the “Refunds and Returns'' section below for details. In situations of extreme harassment/threats requiring blocking for safety, a warning will be issued, and if the behavior continues the refund will be considered void.
Additionally, Dragon’s Den Fursuits reserves the right to blacklist commissioners. Being blacklisted is defined in this document as the barring from any further services or purchase.
Some examples of harassment would be excessive messaging (such as every day, hour or x amount of minutes), consistent ignoring of work hours/days or given estimated start time of project, making inappropriate comments, sending inappropriate pictures, general spam, attempts to force deadlines or jump the queue, and just generally overly rude behavior. Rule of thumb is if you wouldn’t want to have to deal with it in your own workplace please do not expect me to in mine!
Warranty and Prices
Quotes are provided on a first come, first served basis and are charged a processing fee of $20 to cover my time. This fee is debited towards the total cost of your suit if you proceed with commissioning while the quote is valid. Price quotes are subject to change after 90 days from the time of quote being provided and past the 90 days you will need to submit a new quote. Quote processing fees are charged per quote. You may request a free estimate from Dragons Den Fursuits at any time to be processed on the next quote processing day (Fridays); however, you must receive a full detailed quote to proceed with commissioning. Dragon’s Den Fursuits reserves the right to deny service to anyone (before and after accepting commission). All work (Except items that may be used for sexual activity) is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of item received. Any unauthorized alteration not made by Dragon’s Den Fursuits voids the warranty. Warranty covers defects of material and construction. Normal wear and tear, or damages caused by rough use or disregard of care instructions is not covered by the warranty!

Dragon’s Den Fursuits DOES take a limited number of payment plan slots at this point in time. Payment plan slots are limited to 3 slots, please ask for availability of these slots if you are needing a payment plan! At this point in time Dragons Den Fursuits offers 2 options for payment plans. Please note, with both options 40% of the total cost of the suit is non-refundable.
Option 1:
The 40% deposit is the first payment made, and the remaining payments are divided into the monthly minimum payments across the max time frame of the payment plan.
Option 2:
The total cost of the suit is divided into equal monthly payments across the maximum time frame. Payments up to the deposit amount of 40% are non-refundable.
With both options you may make larger than the monthly minimum payment amount, and pay the suit off sooner.
Your commission will be added to the bottom of the queue when paid in full, the date of final payment is considered to be when you have commissioned Dragons Den Fursuits and will determine the estimated start time. Date of the first payment being made does not impact the estimated start time and time while on the payment plan is not included in the wait time estimate!. Projects are not scheduled in the queue prior to being paid for in full. Late payments will result in a later start time, late fees per month with the amount to be determined based on the cost of the suit. After 2 months of consecutive missed payments your commission is subject to cancellation. Payments are to be made directly through the invoice or e transfer email provided, Dragons Den Fursuits is not responsible for lost or improperly recorded payments if you send directly or through alternate means.
Shipping is calculated upon completion and is not included in the quoted price.
Payment Plan Timeframes
The maximum payment plan timeframes are as follows:
Heads: 2 months maximum
Mini Partials: 3 months maximum
Full Partials: 4 months maximum
Full Suits: 6 months maximum
Completion Dates
Dragon’s Den Fursuits is a one person, parent run business and does not take hard deadlines outside of rush orders. Rush orders are limited but may be available depending on the timeframe, amount of overtime hours required to meet the requested deadline, etc. Rush fees are determined by the type of commission and time between commissioning and the requested time frame.
The number of queue slots is limited specifically to keep wait times short, with average timeframes being under 6 months on a fully paid commission. Blueberries. More complex designs/projects may exceed the average timeframe, if this will be the case it will be communicated to you through the regular updates.
Shipping
Shipping is NOT included in the price for any suit work and is due within 2 weeks of completion. In situations of items requiring a longer time for shipping without making prior arrangements with Dragon’s Den Fursuits, the client will be charged a storage fee. If you need extra time to pay shipping please let me know and we can make arrangements to accommodate that. After 1 month of storage WITHOUT correspondence (ie. commissioner ghosting, not responding to messages, etc.), the item is considered abandoned and will be altered and sold without refund. Commissions can be held for up to 2 months WITH communication from the buyer, storage fees may still apply depending on timeframe needed. This includes commissions or repairs. We usually ship with Canada Post (to USPS for the states), if you prefer UPS or FedEx we can accommodate that however they are more likely to incur customs fees which are not included in the shipping cost.
At this time, we ship worldwide!
Shipping to the United States usually costs around $20-$200 depending on the item being shipped. (Please note we are based out of Canada, so these prices are subject to change.)
If international please ask in regards to shipping as it can be pricey depending on what is being shipped and where it is going! While we cannot provide exact shipping cost before the suit is made, we can provide a rough estimate upon request to give an idea of how much to budget for.
Once a commission is in the hands of the shipping company, it is out of our hands and Dragon's Den Fursuits is not responsible for issues with the shipper. This includes customs fees, delays, or items lost or stolen while in the hands of the shipping company! While Dragons Den Fursuits does ship all items with insurance, whether shipping companies honor insurance on handmade goods may vary.
Concept Art/Reference Sheets
It is required that a colored concept is provided by the commissioner prior to sending in a form. Preferably, a clean and clear digital reference sheet for better fabric color matching. Dragon’s Den Fursuits is not responsible for including or not including anything that is not present on the agreed upon concept art.
If you do not have a concept art one of our associated artists would be happy to provide a fursuit friendly reference sheet for $150 USD.
Additional Information
It is the responsibility of the commissioner to pay close attention to progress shots to ensure you get what you want. If you need something changed during the WIP stages, it is required that you mention such as soon as possible! If it could have been changed at an earlier stage shown in the progress pictures sent to you and you did not mention your disliking of any aspect and voice it later when the project is further along and harder to fix, this will take more time and labor. This will result in additional fees.
Additionally, if you do not like a certain aspect of your suit, do not tell us “it looks great, I love it” or any variation that could lead us to believe otherwise. We welcome criticism and realize fursuits are large investments and you should get exactly what you pay for. Please do not try to spare our feelings if you do not like something we are doing. We try to be very accommodating and will not “dislike you for being picky”. You deserve to be picky!
If you have any animal related allergies PLEASE communicate this with me at the time of commissioning, I do have animals (ferrets, dog and reptiles) who although they do not come into direct contact with any of my work and are not permitted in my work room, they do still live in the same house so I cannot guarantee allergens will not travel!
Dragon's Den Fursuits is not responsible for any injury caused by misuse/lack of precautions taken during the use of one of our products. For example, but not limited to; if you wear a full suit in extreme heat and suffer from heat stroke, if you leave in a large piercing during wear and it gets caught on the liner, if you fall down the stairs in suit due to not being used to suiting visibility, etc. These are NOT the responsibility of the maker so that being said, please do practice safe suiting!
Please note that Dragon’s Den Fursuits will not make suits based off of other fursuit maker’s style. Additionally, Dragon’s Den Fursuits refuses to make copyrighted characters as it can result in significant legal issues for Dragon's Den Fursuits as well as the client if the owner of the copyright decides to pursue legal action.
Contract
Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, including email, is a binding contract. By sending payment you agree to all of the terms of service.
