OVERVIEW The Shopify Draft Order Validator Chrome Extension ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle information.

HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS The Extension operates entirely within your browser:
Local Validation Only: The extension reads text displayed on Shopify draft order pages to validate customer information.

No Third Parties: No third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools are used.
PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED The Extension requests the following permissions:

Why: To allow the popup to check whether the current tab is a Shopify draft order page, so it can display the correct status in the extension popup.
What it accesses: Only the URL of the currently active tab when you click the extension icon.
What we do with it: Determine whether to show "Draft Order Page" or "Not on Shopify" in the popup — nothing is stored.
Host Permissions (*.myshopify.com and admin.shopify.com)
Why: To run the validation content script on Shopify admin pages.
What it accesses: The visible page content on Shopify draft order pages only.
What we do with it: Check locally whether customer information fields are complete before a draft order is submitted — nothing is stored or transmitted.
DATA SECURITY Since we don't collect any data, there is no data to secure, transmit, or protect. Everything happens locally in your browser.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we ever change how the Extension handles data, we will update this policy and the extension version number. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY The Extension does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
