Fictional Season 2 Coming January 2023
S1: Each Promotion starts with $25,000,000 in the Bank. This can be spent on everything from Workers to Promotion "Pimping". First you have to set up your Promotion. This cannot be changed during the Draft. Money left over at the end of the draft is the “Starting Funds” of the promotion, so don't go bankrupt on a spending spree as you may struggle to survive even the first year.
S2: Each Player gets a User Character which they can use as an active wrestler, announcer or just a plain and simple behind the scenes Owner & Booker. This must be created before the draft begins and cannot be edited afterwards
S3: Before the draft starts, everyone will be asked to provide a list of workers to place in the draft. These will decide who will be in the early rounds. Workers can be added continuously untill the closure is announced via the Discord Chat. The workers who feature in each round will often be entirely random, however there may be a few Themed rounds such as Women’s, Tag Teams, Announcers or Referee’s.
S4: Each Promotions gets either the choice of Monlthy Events or Annual Event. If you chose Monthly you get an Event Importance of 30%. If you chose Annual you get 9 PPV’s at “Normal” level, 2 at “Above Average” and 1 at “Highly Regarded”. You can Upgrade the Levels of both and buy extra Monthly PPV’s. If you Chose to run both Monthly and Annual Events, only Monthly Events will be free. All Annual Events will be charged per the cost of the Prestige Set.
Each Promotion can also create its own belts, Television shows, Broadcasters and much more.
S5: The Drafting will take place using Google Doc’s and take advantage of the many options it offers. Any Announcements to do with the draft will be made in the Discord Chat Room. The Private Chat Room will be set up on the HoPW Discord so players can talk freely without spamming the GDS Thread.
Auction Rules
A: Bidding for a Worker is simple, just select their name in a dropdown section of the Auction poll. The winner is decided using an eBay style bidding of “highest wins''. All Workers Requested will be added, with no set time limit. The only ways to win is when you have the highest bid and the worker hasn’t been bid on for 24 hours. You then become the winner of that workers contract.
B: Maximum Bids for workers will be determined by Promotion Set up (Absolute highest being $9,999,999). The amount you buy a worker for will determine their contract price in the Mod. Winning a load of workers at $500,000 may give you a great line up, but will ultimately sink your promotion. When making bids on workers, you can increase their bids as often as you like, so long as its within 24 hours of the previous "Highest Bid"
Bidding will also have a Minimum increase limit.
$5-$1,000 is a minimum of $50 increase
$1,001-$2,500 is a minimum of $100 increase
$2,501-$10,000 is a Minimum of $250 increase
$10,001-$25,000 is a Minimum of $500 increase
$25,001-$50,000 is a Minimum of $1,000 increase
$50,001-$100,000 is a Minimum of $2,500 increase
$100,001-$150,000 is a Minimum of $5,000 increase
$150,001-$500,000 is a Minimum of $10,000 increase
$500,001-$1,000,000 is a Minimum of $25,000 increase
$1,000,001-$2,000,000 is a Minimum of $50,000 increase
$2,000,001-$5,000,000 is a Minimum of $100,000 increase
$5,000,001-$9,999,999 is a Minimum of $250,000 increase
C: Everyone can make multiple bids on a worker, it’s not a one hit wonder. However getting in early with a high offer might be a smart idea in some cases.
D: There is both an upper and lower Limit when bidding on workers. You will need to draft a Minimum of 25 (Staff and Roster) but a maximum of XX Overall. The Maximum number of workers you can draft will be decided by your promotion setup. The amount you can draft will be highlighted on the "Co" Page. Drafting over this amount will result in all workers costing x5 the price paid.
A Minimum of 20 Wrestlers, 1 Announcer, 1 Colour Commentator, 2 Road Agents and 2 Referees. Failing to meet the minimum will result in a $250,000 fine for each empty slot
E: If a worker only Receives 1 bid and that bid is under $10,000, Unlike Season 1, the price they sell for, will be the price of their contract.
This means winning a worker at just $500 will actually mean you only pay $500 upfront and each month.
F: In this draft you can pick workers from any area to join your promotion. Worker restrictions will be turned OFF.
A: TV and PPV Deals will change in Season 3 onwards. Like Season 1, all bids will be public again, but unlike Season 1, Multiple deals on the same network will be auctioned at the same time.
Each broadcaster will only ever be listed once and if you miss out. So if you want "USA Network", it will only come around once.
Each Broadcaster will be auctioned with 1-5 slots available. This means the 1-5 highest bidders win and all pay the price they bid. 1 Winning Bid equals 1 TV or Event Slot. If you want to host 2 TV Shows and Events, you'll need to win 3 slots on a Network.
A Network will only sell, when the highest bid is timed out by 48 hours.
All Broadcaster Deals will come with basic settings, as Follows:
Time Slot: One Demand
Expires: 1 Year
Revenue Split: Decided by Promotion Setup
Minimum Quality: Decided by Promotion Setup
B: Community Broadcasters are an independant Broadcaster that you create but do not own. As a perk of creating one, you get 5 Slots with that broadcaster at a slightly better level than you would with a regular broadcaster, but not as good as a company owned broadcaster.
All Community Broadcasters will close Exactly 2 years after the Simulation Start Date.
Events and A-Shows Community Broadcaster Deals will come with basic settings, as Follows:
Time Slot: Prime Time
Expires: 2 Years
Revenue Split: 50% To Company
Minimum Quality: 50
B-Shows Community Broadcaster Deals will come with basic settings, as Follows:
Time Slot: Late Evening
Expires: 2 Years
Revenue Split: 40% To Company
Minimum Quality: 40
A: Each Promotion is given a budget of $25,000,000 at the beginning of sign up. These funds will be used to shape your promotion and buy workers. You will be expected to buy the Prestige, Momentum, Extra Events, Arena’s plus PPV and TV Deals not to mention buying workers and more. You can over spend and go into negative funds, however the "Banks" will charge increasingly higher interest rates depending on how much over the $25m you spend
B: Remaining Money at the end can be used to buy Extra Events, Tag Team Exp, Own Networks, Arena's, Training Facilities and so on. But remember not to spend too much as you will have no money in the bank to start with
A: Events are now a Monlthy or Yearly setup only, there is no option to have both.
You can either have 12 Monthly Events at 9 Normal (10%), 2 Above Average (50%) and 1 Highly Regarded (70%)
or
1 Monthly PPV at Normal (30%), 1 Annual at Above Average (50%) and 1 Highly Regarded (70%)
B: Television Shows are Capped at 5, however your individual cap may be lower due to the Promotion Points Builder System

Hiatus: All Workers who are on hiatus will be eligible for Drafting.
Left The Business: Unless stated otherwise, All workers will be eligible for Drafting

Retired: Someone who retired through choice and not injury (Jamie Noble, Lita, Guido) Will all be considered to be Reactivated as Full Time or Part-time workers.
Others such as Steve Austin will not be allowed as they retired due to Medical Reasons.

A Promotions can “Overspend”, however it comes with a cost. Overspending will incur interest fees. Those fees are as follows:
-$1 to -$10,000 = 25% Interest
-$10,001 to -$100,000 = 50% Interest
-$100,001 to -$500,000 = 100% Interest
-$500,001 to -$1,000,000 = 150% Interest
-$1,000,001 to -$2,500,000 = 200% Interest
-$2,500,001 to -$5,000,000 = 500% Interest
-$5,000,001 to -$10,000,000 = 1,000% Interest
-$10,000,001 to -$20,000,000 = 1,500% Interest
-$20,000,001 to -$30,000,000 = 2,000% Interest
-$30,000,001 to -$40,000,000 = 2,500% Interest
-$40,000,001 to -$50,000,000 = 5,000% Interest
-$50,000,001+ = 10,000% Interest
Remember that this means your promotion will start in an even bigger hole and may not make it the 10 years, meaning the promotion may not make it into the “Final Data”.
B: Fines and Fee's in one place
Failing to meet the 25 Minimum Roster: $1,000,000
Each Worker Short of Individual Roster Targets: $250,000 Per Missing
Failing to Set any on the "Required" Cells on the Promotion Page: $100,000 Per Missing
Bidding outside 24-48hr Time-out: $10,000 Each Time
Every Worker Sold in the Light Grey: x5 Cost Per Worker
Every Worker Sold in the Dark Grey: x10 Cost Per Worker
Bidding Over Limit (Worker Contract): $150,000 Each Time
Bidding Over Limit (Total Roster Contract Amount): x25 of the total above Roster Spend (If Roster Limit is $15,000,000 and your total roster cost is $16,000,000 you pay x25 on the $1,000,000 over)
A: If you miss the end of an auction, it can be reopened by request, however throughout the whole draft you will only have 3 opportunities to do this, so act wisely. That workers bidding with reopen at the previous highest bid and will continue until its timed out by the 24 Hour Rule.
B: Bidding will work by opening a new Auction Room once a day until we reach 6 rooms. After that, once a worker is sold, their empty space will be filled by another worker from the "Un-Sold" list
C: All workers are Available Exclusively to the winning bidder. Unless you Share with another player, that worker is yours and will not be on any other roster.
You can however “Loan” a worker to a fellow promotion for a $$$ Fee $$$ which can be decided by the both parties. You can also create a “Pairing” where 2 promotions can share a worker using a Written Non-Exclusive contract. Example being the winner bids $300,000 and then splits the bill with it's “Partner”. Both Promotions then pay $150,000 for the worker but the Workers contract price will always be the original Bid Price of £300,000. This is a change to Season 1, however it gave an unfair advantage to group bidders.
D: Existing Arena’s will be put up for auction during the draft for everyone to bid on. Like Broadcasters, the time out period is 48 hours.
You can also create your own arena.
A: Alliance's can be created Before or During a Draft. They can be created by requesting an Alliance Profile Sheet.
The Alliance Profile sheet allows you to create the layout of your alliance. The cost of An Alliance is $2m, however the cost is split between the members. So the more members, the cheaper the alliance.
Having an alliance also allows you to avoid the cap on the amount of shared workers in the draft. Without a draft a draft, promotions can share Upto 6 Workers.
Alliances can share upto 150 workers without cost
----- Step One -----
Joining the Draft Master Challenge via GDS or Discord and you will be sent your own private "Promotion Page". This is exclusive to you and you can continue to edit sections of it throughtout the draft.
Now Decide on a Promotion Name and Location
Decide how you would like to spend your $25Million on building your company. From Momentum and Prestige to Extra PPV's Your own Broadcaster or even Development Company. Just fill in the Form and post it. Remember to add all your PPV Events, Championships and so on.
Make sure you complete all the required sections of the Company and User pages before the Auction begins. Some sections have to be filled in before the draft can begin and some can never be edited again aftrwards.
When you create an “Owner/Booker” base it on either yourself or someone fictional. Nobody from the Wrestling world or Celebrities are allowed.
Decide on if you are going to forge an Alliance or just a Relationship ahead of the Draft beginning.
Place a vote on which TEW 2020 Mod will be the base for the current challenge
----- Step Two -----
Draw up a list of workers you would like to draft and post that list. It doesn’t have to be 100’s, but once posted, you won't have a chance to add to it until the later rounds.
Familiarise yourself with both the Auction Bid form that you have to use to place bids and the Auction Data sheet that lists all things related to the draft. This will include the active auction lots, workers who have been sold and to whom, broadcaster deals and more.
----- Step Three -----
After the Auction begins, Draw up a list of all workers you want for your promotion who haven’t yet been auctioned. Remembering Referee’s, Wrestlers, Announcers and anyone who you will need to fill your roster. They will all then be added to the draft where everyone can bid on those workers.
----- Step Four -----
Once all Auctions end, Trading will stay open up for the next 3-4 Days, where you can organise a trade with anyone. After 3-4 Days the Rosters will be locked and added into the games data.
Complete all sections of your Promotion Profile as this will be the last chance. Anything incorrect or missing will be as it will be, meaning no changing anything once Step 5 begins.
----- Step Five -----
The Challenge Begins and the Data will be simmed for 2 Years. A Copy of this data will be made and that will be the foundation of the Released Data.
----- Step Six -----
Every Year for the 10 Years, the data will be evaluated and awards will be given, which will be added to the “Release Data”. Awards will be given for a multitude of milestones reached. These range from growing in size or falling in size, to the End of the Year Awards, Whether your promotion is still in business or if your promotion falls into Debt.
----- Step Seven -----
The ”Release Data” which will be 2 years after the draft will be edited with all the Rewards for the milestones/Achievements reached over the 10 Year sim. That data will then be released to the players to tackle as they wish.
