Dr. Abhishek Saxena was born on 7 September 1988 in a middle class family. Since childhood he was very active in all school activities and a good speaker. In his childhood he used to participate in many debate competitions to put across his views on topic related to reforms in society. In his teenage he also lead his school as General Captain of the school.
He did his graduation in field of Medicine (M.B.B.S.) from M.S. Ramaiah medical college, Bengaluru, one of the most prestigious college in country. Then after finishing his graduation he worked as junior resident in department of surgery in Hindu Rao Hospital and NDMC medical college, Delhi. There he was an active member of Resident doctors association and also became officer bearer of RDA later on.
Also he was chief coordinator of Save the Doctors Campaign which laid the foundation for increasing number of post graduate seats in medical colleges in India.
Later, he did his post graduation in Orthopaedics from Bangalore medical college and research institute (BMCRI). During his post graduation he served as an important member of Resident Doctors Association and served as President of the association. Also he was founder member of Karnataka association of resident doctors, a state body for all the house surgeons, specialty post graduates and super specialty post graduates across state of Karnataka and served 2 terms s office bearer.
During his term in RDA BMCRI and KARD he brought tremendous changes in history of medical doctors associations. He was one of the key person in the team who got stipend increased in Karnataka during time of crises and also worked hard in uniting doctors across the state.
