Project Title: Consultancy Project to maintain “Load Forecasting System for MP State developed by IIITD J” (with Dr. Sachin Kumar Jain)

Description: This project aims to maintain and enhance the Load Forecasting System for MP State developed by IIITDM Jabalpur, which performs short-term, medium-term, and long-term load forecast for Madhya Pradesh state by considering various parameters such as the previous hours, day, week, month or year load data, season, weather condition, events/holidays etc. The project objectives mainly include the day ahead scheduling forecast, as well as, very short-term one hour ahead load forecast for every 15-minute interval.

Project Title: Research Project entitledUAV-assisted Wi-Fi Geofencing for UAV Tracking and Activity Monitoring in Restricted Perimeter” (with Dr. Munesh Singh, Dr. Abhishek Verma and Dr. Vijaypal Singh Rathore)

Description: The project proposal aims to implement a cost-effective UAV-assisted Wi-Fi geofencing system for localization and counter-attack on enemy UAVs. This project is sponsored by TiHAN, IIT Hyderabad.

Funding Agency: TiHAN, IIT Hyderabad (Cost of the Project: Rs. 15.70 lacs).

Project Title: Study of specific areas registering high failure rate of distribution transformers to analyze the cause of failure and suggest a solution to overcome this problem by applying IT technology and integrating it with metering solutions (with Dr. Sachin Kumar Jain)

Description: This research project aims to study of specific areas registering high failure rate of distribution transformers to analyze the cause of failure and suggest a solution to overcome this problem by applying IT technology and integrating it with metering solutions. The project analyse the causes of distribution transformer failure based on the actual field data and propose a feasible solution to reduce the rate of failure.

Funding Agency: Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), under Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI. (Cost of the Project: Rs. 22 lakhs and 22 thousand only).

Project Title: Energy Efficient Routing Protocol for Mobile and Multi Sink Wireless Sensor Network

Description: The objective of this project is to develop energy-efficient routing protocols with heterogeneity support in case of a mobile sink that will solve specific WSN related challenges including load balancing, delay minimization, reliable data delivery, efficient coverage, and minimizing energy consumption.
