Welcome ! I am Dr. Vijay Kumar Patel, Assistant Professor Grade II of the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, India Institute of Information Technology Surat. I am from Varanasi, India, and my journey in Mathematics began at Udai Pratap Autonomous College Varanasi, affiliated with V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, India, from where I obtained my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (2010). I then obtained an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics (2012) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics (2018) from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, India, Department of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Vineet Kumar Singh. I was a National Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, from June 2019 to September 2022. My research at IIT Kanpur was supported by the DAE (NBHM Post-Doctoral Fellowship) and SERB (National Post-Doctoral Fellowship), Government of India.
