Dr. Utkarsh Mahadeo Khaire is an Assistant Professor for the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad, in Data Science and Intelligent Systems. He earned a PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Nagaland, for the thesis on “Risk Prediction and Prognosis of Life-Threatening Diseases Based on Healthcare Data.” He pursued his M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Nagaland. Completed B. E in Information Technology from Nagpur University. His credentials include publications in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals, copyrights, and patents. He has also organized one ATAL-sponsored FDP and one SDP sponsored by TiHan. In addition, he has also contributed as a resource person for a couple of FDPs and conducted short-term courses as a part of placement activities. His research interests encompass Algorithms, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating systems, and Computer Architecture and Organization.

Being a continuous learner with an inquisitive mind has molded him to be a Man of Research. He is currently working in fields like Gerontology, Environmental Engineering, and Digital Humanities. Webbing digital humanities and data science is the objective of his current research. It cannot be denied that he is a sincere and dedicated teacher who strives to give his best in all that he does.
