Umar Rashad Ibn Abdullah-Johnson, known professionally as Dr. Umar, is an American motivational speaker and author.[1] Johnson has referred to himself as the "prince of Pan-Africanism".
Dr. Umar is an American motivational speaker, author, clinical psychologist, certified school psychologist, and Pan-Africanist activist. He is known for advocacy on education and mental health of African and African-American children, challenging misdiagnoses like ADHD and promoting Pan-African unity. Founder of the National Independent Black Parent Association and movements such as “Unapologetically Afrikan,” he authored Psycho-Academic Holocaust and Black Parent Advocate. He is developing the Frederick Douglass & Marcus Garvey RBG Leadership Academy for Boys, a Pan-Africanist residential school, and remains a widely requested speaker worldwide despite controversy over his outspoken views. 2011, he was featured on Hidden Colors: The Untold History of People of Aboriginal, Moor, and African Descent, directed by Tariq Nasheed.[7] In 2013, Johnson self-published Psycho-Academic Holocaust: The Special Education & ADHD Wars Against Black Boys, a book in which he contended that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was increasingly misdiagnosed in Black communities and that the American education system used ADHD to stigmatize black children.[8][9] In a 2017 video clip, Johnson claimed that ADHD and learning disabilities do "not exist".[10] See: Umar Johnson
Minister Mauricelm X or Mauricelm-Lei Millere (born May 28, 1973) is a black muslim minister, black nationalist leader, psychiatric clinician, and human rights activist. In 2014, concerning the shooting of Mike Brown by Ferguson, Missouri Darren Wilson (police officer) Mauricelm X founded African American Defense League (AADL). Millere experienced controversy concerning his involvement with Micah X (The Dallas Police Shooting) and the Killing of Alton Sterling. Dr. Mauricelm-Lei Millere is credited as founder of illness or disorder (Manic Aggressive Personality Disorder). He is esteemed highly for his stance against police violence against the black community. Detractors, due to his philosophical likeness to Nation of Islam muslim minister Malcolm X, accuse him of advocating hatred, racism, and violence. Mauricelm X was introduced to the Nation of Islam by Khalid Abdul Muhammad and is instrumental in the African American Religious and political movement.
