About Me

Hi, I'm Dr. Trinetra Mukherjee. My career journey has led me to the thrilling intersection of AI and microbiology. While my foundational expertise lies in microbiology, culminating in a PhD from the University of Burdwan (as a DST-INSPIRE fellow) with a 14 month DAAD  scholarship in Ruhr Univerity Bochum, Germany, where I explored extremophilic microbes from hot springs, I'm now actively engaged as an AI trainer (SFT and RLHF), shaping the future of AI models.

My previous role as a BIENVENÜE MSCA-COFUND postdoctoral researcher at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, France, allowed me to delve into the fascinating adaptations of deep-sea piezophiles and the biotechnological promise of their unique molecules – a line of inquiry I continue to develop. My core research interests are broad, encompassing molecular biology, bioinformatics, various "omics" approaches, and the analysis of microbial diversity in extreme environments. I also bring a strong background in microbial-derived bioproducts, with hands-on experience in characterizing carotenoids, thermozymes, plant growth-promoting substances and biogas producing microbes.

I look forward to applying my unique blend of AI and microbiology expertise to propel the creation of sophisticated AI models in biology, thereby shaping this groundbreaking future.
