Hi- My name is Deanne Spenard. I am a Learning Support Teacher at Dr. Thomas A Swift. I have been teaching for over 12 years but this is my first year at Swift. I am so proud to be part of your school and have enjoyed meeting all of you.
At school, I work with intermediate students both inside and outside the classroom. I work in close partnership with classroom teachers to provide support for our students.
Virtual learning is new to many of us. I want to assure you Learning Support Services will continue to support you and your children during this time. Although some services may look different we are only a phone call or email away. I am looking forward to taking this new journey with you.
Hi- My Name is Kirsten Skotnitsky but the kids call me Mrs. S. I am the Youth Care worker at Dr. T. A. Swift Elementary School. I have been with the school district for over 13 years and have been at Swift for many years. The staff and Swift community is amazing.
At school,I work with students of all ages and run multiple food programs . My main role at Swift is to support students in whatever way they need. From academic support to social support, I do it all.
My goal as a educator is to help kids help themselves. Success is different for everyone and we have to embrace that.
With this time of uncertainty, I am here to help in anyway I can. Email, phone call, we can get through this together.

Hello, my name is Sue Savage and I am the Library Learning Commons teacher at Dr. T.A. Swift Elementary. This is my third year at our school and I'm so proud to be part of such a fantastic team of learners. I love reading stories with students and challenging them to think creatively and critically in our Learning Commons areas. We approach S.T.E.A.M. challenges with cooperation and perseverance. Most importantly, we are kind and at Swift, we R.O.C.K. !
