BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Suparna Dasgupta is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Information Technology, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, West Bengal, India. With a career spanning nearly two decades, she has made significant contributions to both academia and industry. Dr. Dasgupta completed her Ph.D. in Technology from the University of Calcutta in 2022, following her M.Tech from West Bengal University of Technology in 2008 and B.Tech from JIS College of Engineering in 2005. Her research interests include IoT, vehicular and sensor networks, machine learning, and AI, reflected in her numerous publications in reputed journals, including the Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems and Baghdad Science Journal. She has authored pioneering patents, including advancements like the Thermoelectric Generator and Smart Wheel Chair, showcasing her innovative approach to problem-solving. Her funded research on "Rural Health Care Development Using Vehicular and Sensor Network," supported by the University Grants Commission, stands as a testament to her commitment to societal betterment through technology.
