Hybrid machining processes have been developed for processing of difficult to machine materials involving different form of energy viz. thermal energy, chemical energy and mechanical energy. Hybrid machining processesare developed as enhanced removal processes that can achieve a considerable better processing effect or extended machining ability by combining two or more processes.
