The competition in the world market for manufactured products and manufacturing processes has increased tremendously in recent years. Manufacturing 4.0 includes a promise of a new manufacturing revolution through applications of advanced manufacturing techniques with AI, IOT and robotics etc. Manufacturing 4.0 offers more comprehensive, interlinked and holistic approach to increase the output. Recently, meso,micro and nano manufacturing are emerging as an important technology’s, specially where miniaturization yields commercial and technical benefits, explicitly automotive, biomedical, aerospace, defence etc. Our objective is to identify and developed new research opportunity for advanced and smart manufacturing processes including development of various experimental setup in advanced machining and hybrid machining processes for quality products.
