Professor Sachin has more than 15 years of research experience in the areas of Machinery Condition Monitoring and Structural Health Monitoring. The primary objective of Professor Sachin’s research group is to develop immediate solutions to the Condition Monitoring problems faced by the industrial Machinery equipment. The current research activities of Prof. Sachin's groups are on the development of new algorithms for the incipient fault detection of bearing, Gears, motor, and shaft.
Prof. Sachin is open to research collaboration in the above-mentioned areas.
The students who want to carry out his research with Prof. Sachin's group must have had basics of Mechanical Vibration, Matrix algebra, Statistics, Signal Processing, and Numerical Methods. Prospective students should have had adequate experience in software like MATLAb, LAbVIEW, and Python.
