Hello, this is Dr. Ram Manohar. He is working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Dept. of Mathematics & Statistics at  Texas A&M University, USA, on December 22, 2023. Also, he was awarded a Research Associate- I position at the department of mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) on June 02, 2022. But this position was not availed by him. Because he has joined institute postdoc position at the department of mathematics and statistics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) on May 18, 2022. Currently, he is working as an institute postdoctoral fellow at the department of mathematics & statistics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur under the guidance of  Prof. B.V. Rathish Kumar. He has completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati), India. He has worked on a thesis entitled “A Posteriori Error Estimates for Finite Element Discretizations of Parabolic Optimal Control Problems” under the supervision of  Prof. Rajen Kumar Sinha. His research interests include both theory and numerics of optimal control problems. More precisely, he has carried out rigorous error analysis for finite element approximation and numerical experiments of optimal control problems governed by partial differential equations. Currently, he is working on “Adaptive  SIPG method for Boundary Control Problems Governed by Parabolic PDEs” and "Optimal control of Poisson equation from non-local to local".  The next plane is to investigate the a posteriori error analysis for parabolic optimal control problem using reduced basis element methods. 

            He received master degree in mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), while the bachelor degree is from  CSJM University Kanpur.  His primary and secondary education greeted from Anand Ucchatar Madhyamik Vidhyalaya Bilwai, and Govt. MLT Inter College Mahoba, respectively.  He was born in the Indian hamlet of  Bilwai , in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
