This doctoral research explored experimental and numerical modelling techniques to understand the thermal-fluid process in novel heat exchangers under oscillatory flows and high-pressure conditions and to establish guidelines for designing heat exchangers for the next generation of Thermoacoustic systems, Stirling machines, and refrigerators in cryogenic applications.
