Research Interests: Numerical analysis of Bifurcating Phenomenon, Non-linear PDEs, Optimal Control of fractional PDEs/non-local PDEs, Wavelet Collocation Methods, Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs).
I am Dr. Nitin Kumar, and I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIITL), India. Prior to joining IIITL, I was a Postdoc fellow at the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), Trieste, Italy. Currently, I am working on the development of methodologies for Bifurcation diagram contruction and curve detection in non-linear multiparametric PDEs. Before my Postdoctoral position, I was a research associate in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Delhi, India. I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where I investigated novel methodologies for solving optimal control of complex PDEs with fractional operators. My research primarily centers around fractional PDEs/nonlocal PDEs and their implications in optimization and control theory. This research laid the foundation for my subsequent work in developing the Physics-informed Neural Networks (PINNs) approach for fractional optimal control problems.
