Dr Neeti Singh is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion, at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She is Gold-medalist from two universities; BHU and Allahabad University with her BA (Philosophy Hons.) and MA (in Philosophy) respectively. She has done her Ph.D. in Applied Philosophy with special reference to Administrative Philosophy under Prof. Debashis Guha from the University of Allahabad. She has taught at Allahabad University (1 complete session of UG) as a Research Scholar and at St. Columba's College, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand for 1 year on a contractual basis. She has published 12 research papers and 1 book entitled "Introductory Principles of Logic: Seeing Things into Categories" as a Co-author with Dr. Arvind Jaiswal (Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, Vasanta College for Women, BHU). She has been rewarded with many academic awards, such as the Best Paper Award given by Akhil Bhartiya Darshan Parishad in 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively. She has been awarded by Indian Philosophical Congress for attaining 1st position in Essay Completion in 2018 and awarded for best paper presentation by Bihar Darshan Parishad in 2017. She has presented more than 17 research papers in numerous seminars, workshops, webinars, and conferences. She has been an organizing secretary for a 7-day online workshop on Ayer's book Language, Truth, and Logic; and a distinguished member of the organizing committee in a 7-day online workshop on Feminism as well. She teaches both UG and PG classes in BHU and does her duty well.
She believes that Philosophy is not just a subject but a necessity to lead a good and worthy life.
