MUHAMMAD IKRAM

Dr. Muhammad Ikram works as Assistant Professor of Management at School of Business Administration (SBA) Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco and Postdoc. Associate at College of Management, Institute of Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. Dr. Ikram is Vice President of Grey Systems Society (Pakistan) and association of grey systems and uncertainty Analysis (UK). Head of AYRS Research Group of CSR and Director (Industry-Academia Linkages) of Greysys foundation, Lahore, Pakistan.

He serves as Article Editor at SAGE Open Journal indexed in SSCI database, Guest Editor of Sustainability Journal, Environmental Science and Pollution Research (ESPR)) journal SCI having 4.223 impact factor, and Associate Editor of Management Science and Business Decisions and International Journal of Grey Systems. He is board member of various prestigious journals. Dr. Ikram holds a Ph.D. degree in Management Sciences and Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China. He worked as lecturer and Assistant Manager for four years at International Islamic University and Kohinoor Textile Mills Rawalpindi Pakistan.Dr. Ikram was rewarded the best employee of the year, best EU ECO-LABEL project leader, and best researcher award.

He has more than 35 publications in the prestigious scientific journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Total Quality management and Business Excellence, indexed/ranked includes SSCI, SCI, Scopus, ABS, and ABDC. His teaching and research interests include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Sustainability, Integrated Management System (IMS), Grey Modeling, Operation Management, Energy Economics, Environmental Sustainability, and supply chain management. Dr. Ikram is founder of CGS and CAS-TWAS group which is providing Chinese scholarship free services to the student community.

I have an impressive citation growth. My articles have been cited more than 703 times since February 2019.

My research profile is ranked on 3rd & 5th positions (PK,CN) as per P-Ranking database.I started my research journey in 2019 and I am very excited to see my name in P-Ranking database.

One of my papers entitled“Towards a Sustainable Environment: The nexus between ISO 14001, renewable energy consumption, access to electricity, agriculture and CO2 emission in SAARC countries” is considered one of the most cited Sustainable Production and Consumption articles. It has also recorded highly cited paper on Web of science website. In this study, we investigated the complex, country-level relationship between ISO 14001 certification, renewable energy consumption, access to electricity, agriculture, and CO2 emissions within the SAARC countries. In this study we use multiple models to examine data covering the years 2000 to 2014 starting with novel Grey Relational Analysis models. We found in this study that among all SAARC countries, India has substantial CO2 emission. We also found reduction in emission from renewable energy consumption and the adoption of ISO 14001 certification in these countries.The results reveal that among all SAARC countries, India has substantial CO2 emission issues. We also find reductions in emissions from renewable energy consumption and the adoption of ISO 14001 certification in these countries. The outcomes of this study can assist organizations and policymakers in their decision-making and investments.

My work entitled " The social dimensions of Corporate Sustainability: An Integrative Framework Including COVID-19 Insights" has been included in WHO list of global literature on COVID-19. This study highlights serious challenges to corporate sustainability while providing a framework in an attempt to enable more sustainable business practices.This study is among the first of its kind to consider the COVID-19 pandemic as an essential category and social sustainability attribute of corporate sustainable business practices. Outcomes of this study can help assist scholars, corporations, and decision-makers in understanding sustainable development initiatives while simultaneously improving social sustainability practices.
