Dr. Mohd. Aquib Ansari is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with a strong research focus on Computer Vision, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, and has previously worked at Bennett University, Greater Noida and GLA University, Mathura.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (2018–2022) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, where his doctoral work centered on developing AI-driven surveillance systems for shoplifting detection in megastores. He earned his M.Tech in Information Technology (2015–2017) from MITS, Gwalior (RGPV, Bhopal), graduating with distinction as a Gold Medalist, and completed his B.E. in Information Technology (2010–2014) from SATI, Vidisha (RGPV, Bhopal) with honors.

Dr. Ansari has authored over 30+ SCIE and Scopus-indexed journal articles, presented at 24+ international conferences, and contributed to several book chapters and edited volumes in emerging areas like blockchain, healthcare AI, and human activity recognition. He is the co-inventor of four patents, including a granted patent on AI-based surveillance for retail security and a facial recognition goggle system.

He currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for prestigious journals including Scientific Reports (Springer Nature) and Current Computer Science (Bentham Science). In addition, he is an active peer reviewer for numerous SCIE and Scopus-indexed international journals, where he contributes his expertise in evaluating cutting-edge research in AI, computer vision, and intelligent systems.

Having qualified UGC-NET, cleared the GATE exam, and attended numerous FDPs and certifications in machine learning and deep learning, Dr. Ansari continues to contribute to academia through teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary research.

Known for his honesty, diligence, and quick learning, he is passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world challenges and enhancing student learning through innovative pedagogies. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, music, and cricket.
