Participation in Competition

· Actively participated in “Nakhe Rangava Spardha” (Nail Painting Competition) on 1st March 2013, organized by Department of Zoology and Ojaswini Art College, Jalgaon, on the occasion of Science Day on topic Wild life Conservations.

Participation in Avishkar

· University level Research Festival, AVISHKAR-2006 organized by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, during date 15th to 16th December 2006, presented a research paper entitled, “Wound healing plants of North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India”

· University level Research Festival, AVISHKAR-2015 organized by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, during date 22nd November 2015, presented a research model in Pure Sciences Theme under Teacher Category.

Other Qualifications, training and Relevant Experience:

· Sericulture and have experience about rearing of Silk worm.

· Handling of Albino rat and mice.

· Bioinformatics.

· Animal cell culture

Research Areas:

· Research project carried out, entitled, evaluation of medicinal plants for their biological activities such as i) Piscicidal, ii) Insecticidal, iii) Wound healing and iv) Antibacterial activity, Mammalian physiology.

· Supervise Curricular Research Project of UG and PG students.

· Supervise the CPE Budding Research Projects funded by CPE, UGC, New Delhi, for UG and PG students, since 2008-09 to update

National Integration Camp, organized by Vivekanand Kendra, Kanyakumari, dated 22nd December 1991 to 29th December 1991 at Nasik.

Achievement:

1. Design an electronic instrument for measurement of tensile strength of skin to evaluate wound healing activity.

A chromatographic technique for purification of alkaloid, tannin, glycoside, flavonoid, terpenoids and phenolic compounds established.
