Dr. Mahima Habil Massey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at St. John's College, Agra (affiliated with Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra), Uttar Pradesh, India.
She specializes in Environmental Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry, with primary research interests in indoor and outdoor air pollution, aerosol chemistry, atmospheric pollution, emission source characterization, and personal exposure assessment—particularly in school, classroom, and urban environments across India.
Dr. Massey holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with her doctoral work focusing on studies of indoor air pollutants in school classrooms across various microenvironments. She has also completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship supported by SERB-DST.
With over 15 years of combined teaching and research experience, she has actively contributed to multiple funded research projects sponsored by SERB/DST and UGC, and has engaged in international collaborations.
Her scholarly output includes numerous publications in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals (published by publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, and others), one authored/edited book, and five book chapters. Her work has appeared in areas such as particulate matter characterization, heavy metal contamination, personal exposure monitoring, and related environmental health risks.
Dr. Massey is a life member of the Chemical Society (CHEMSO) at St. John's College, Agra, and the Society for Indoor Environment (SIE), New Delhi, where she serves as Treasurer of the Agra Chapter. She also contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for several prestigious journals from Elsevier and Springer.
