Overview

The overarching research program aims to achieve a fundamental understanding of biologically relevant polymers and supramolecular assemblies while translating these insights into engineering solutions for improved healthcare outcomes. Our work focuses on the application of multiscale modeling and simulation approaches, including systematic coarse-graining strategies and enhanced sampling techniques. These methodologies are leveraged to rationally design nanopores for high-precision disease diagnostics, elucidate protein–protein interaction mechanisms, identify novel therapeutic targets, and optimize drug molecules as well as delivery systems for enhanced efficacy.
