Dr. Kathryn Spaight is from Newtown Square PA and attended the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. “I have always been interested in physical health and wellness. My passion for athleticism stemmed from playing soccer, softball, competitive cheerleading and skiing growing up. While attending the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, I participated in a career inquiry shadowing physical therapists and loved the idea of simply helping people.”

Dr. Spaight developed her approach to patient care from a variety of experiences. As a Co-Director for a Bike Camp provided to children with disabilities based out of Villanova, she learned to think outside of the box. As a PT student at Pitt, creating a cycling program for the elderly helped her sharpen her time management skills, and participating in a strength and conditioning program for sled hockey athletes with disabilities at the Penguins practice complex allowed her to better understand individualized programming.

Dr. Spaight is one of the few therapists in the Collegeville area who treat pelvic floor disorders, and was the first therapist in the company to utilize Kinetic’s Post Covid-19 Recovery Program with a patient suffering with “Long Covid” symptoms.
