Janelle M. Love, MD is a board-certified physician in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine who practices with a functional medicine approach. She is a medical detective who investigates underlying causes of medical problems and addresses those. Office visits entail a thorough investigation into the patient’s history, performing a physical examination, and working together as a team with the patient to determine appropriate testing and therapies. Investigations involve exploring inflammation, possible toxin overload, nutritional imbalances, gut inflammation, food intolerances, and biochemical imbalances which may contribute to disease.
Dr. Janelle Love is a Maryland native who is always “thirsty” for knowledge. She finished her family medicine residency after receiving her medical degree from Emory Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia. Always wanting to learn more to help her patients, she received a master’s degree from the University of South Florida Medical School in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. She has an advanced fellowship in Regenerative, Anti- Aging, and Functional Medicine. From the University of South Florida Medical School she also received two graduate certificates, one in Brain Fitness and Memory Management and the other in Functional Endocrinology.
Dr. Love has written health articles for Wye River Upper School and awarded scholarships to Wye River Upper School graduates towards college. She was the founder and president for 5 years of the Autism Relief Foundation which awarded grants to children with autism. Dr. Love has written 3 children’s books on autism.
International medical mission trips have included going to countries such as Kenya and Guatemala.
