Brief biography:
Dr. Jagannath Roy is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of NIT, Warrangal. He holds B.Sc. Honors in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata; M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT Madras, Chennai, and Ph.D. in Mathematics from NIT Durgapur. He received three prestigious scholarships namely DST-INSPIRE-Scholarship for Higher Education, DST-INSPIRE Fellowship for Ph.D. Research and UGC funded DR. D. S. KOTHARI Postdoctoral Fellowship.
His research interests include MCDM, MODM, Portfolio Optimization, Fuzzy set theory, Rough set theory, and Uncertainty theory. Dr. Roy has several research publications in reputed International Journals indexed by Scopus and SCI such as Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, Economic Research, Expert Systems, Sustainability, and Symmetry.
He is an active Life Member of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI, Kolkata Chapter). He also serves as a reviewer for Journal of Cleaner Production, OPSEARCH, PLOS ONE, DMAME, Waste Management, Applied Soft Computing.
