Dr. Guinevere Q. Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York. The Lee lab studies global HIV-1 genetic diversity and its impact on disease progression, treatment outcomes, and curative interventions. Our research program has three main arms:

1. HIV molecular epidemiology, with a focus on drug resistance and its association in clinical outcomes especially in non-B subtype HIV-1

2. HIV proviral DNA and transcriptome RNA intra- and inter-host genetic diversity, and their implications in HIV cure research

3. Deep sequencing assay and bioinformatics pipeline development to capture viral diversity
