• Carried out a project “Long-range transport and air quality” under the supervision of Professor Peter Haynes, Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Cambridge University, UK during April 19 to May 2, 2009 at National University of Singapore, Singapore.

• Completed a course “Numerical Grid Generation and Fluid Flow Computations” with A Grade during January-May 2008 at PROFICIENCE, Indian Institute of Science, India.

Teaching Experience

• Worked as Lecturer in Mathematics (Taught: Differential Calculus, Differential Equations, Fourier series and Fourier Transformation, Numerical Methods), M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India.

• Taught Engineering Mathematics to Bachelor's of Engineering students at University Visveraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University, Bangalore, as a part of DST project (2hr per week)(Taught: Differential Calculus, Differential Equations, Fourier series and Fourier Transformation, Numerical Methods). 

Computer Skills

• Good experience in running global Earth system models and data  assimilation on high- end computing systems (Presently using Super computer CURIE, CEA-TGCC computing facility)

• Extensively used Super Computers: IBM-Regatta, Tesla Cluster, Ecology Cluster 

(Stanford, USA) to run NCAR-Community Earth System Model-1.0.4 Simulations. 

• Linux(OS), Shell script, Python, Climate Data Analysis Tool (Python based programming), Origin 8.0, MATHEMATICA 8.0, FORTRAN, C-Programming.

• Very good hands-on ability to run data-processing applications [CDAT & NCL].

Delivered an invited talk on “Equilibrium sensitivity of terrestrial ecosystem carbon to elevated N-deposition using Community Land Mode 4” at Third National Climate Change Conference, jointly organized by Centre for Science and Environment and Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science during November 3-4, 2012.
