Summary


I am from Assam. Till intermediate, I was a student at Little Star School and Biswanath College. Post Intermediate, I did my Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from Jorhat Engineering College (Govt.), Dibrugarh University followed by Masters in Engineering (Power Systems) from Assam Engineering College (Govt.), Gauhati University. Post that, I completed my Doctorate in Power and Energy Systems from National Institute of Technology Silchar. My doctoral thesis was focused on Power System Operation and Control in Microgrid and Smart Grid with applications of Soft Computing Techniques and design of various controller. My current research interests include Electric Vehicles, IoT applications, Automatic Generation Control of power systems, Health care applications. Debdeep Saha is the member of IEEE Power and Energy Society. Besides, he is the reviewer of several international journals e.g. IET Generation Transmission, Distribution, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, International Transactions of Electrical Energy Systems, Applied Energy Elsevier, Soft Computing Applications, AIP Publishing, etc. 

I worked with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Girijananda Chowdhury University from 3rd January, 2011 till 22nd Sept, 2022. After that, I joined Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur as a teaching faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering (11th Nov, 2022 to 31st May, 2023). I am currently working with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education as an Assistant Professor.
