- [Dr. D. Games]: your name, or a studio name if you use one.
- [kushaldhardwivedi@gmail.com]: an email players can write to. Google Play requires one. It will be public, so you might want a separate address just for the game.
Privacy Policy for 2187
Effective date: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game "2187" (the "App"), made by [Dr. D. Games] ("we", "us"), handles information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask for, collect or store any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location. The App has no accounts and no sign-in.
2. Information stored on your device
The App saves the following only on your own device:
- your best scores for each board size
- your games in progress
- your settings (sound on or off, last board size, whether you have seen the help screen)
- simple counters used to space out ads (number of games finished)
This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads appear in three ways:
- a banner ad at the top of the screen while you play
- optional rewarded ads, which you can choose to watch to get extra undos
- occasional full-screen ads between games
To show and measure ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect and process information from your device, such as:
- your device's advertising ID
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location (country or city)
- device and app information (for example device model, operating system version, language and app version)
- information about your interaction with ads (for example whether an ad was shown or clicked)
- diagnostic information such as crash and performance data
This information is collected and used by Google, not by us. We do not receive information that personally identifies you. To learn how Google uses this information, see:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Your choices
- Personalized ads: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: when required by law, the App asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the App.
- You can avoid rewarded ads entirely by not using them; they are always optional.
5. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help remove it.
6. Data security
Because we do not collect personal information, we do not store any such information on our servers. Information collected by Google AdMob is handled under Google's own security practices and privacy policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if new features are added to the App. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
