My research interest focus on understanding the relationship between form, flow and sediment transport in rivers and deltaic environments. I have particular expertise in capturing flow and form processes using novel, high-resolution techniques; publishing widely in these areas. Furthermore, I have expertise in the numerical modelling of fluvial and coastal systems and their response to changes in climate. I am a National Geographic Explorer, holding an explorers grant to investigate microplastic transport though the Mekong catchment. I welcome any opportunity to collaborate on new projects, so if you have any research ideas, please do get in touch.
