Biography:
Dr. Budati Anil Kumar received a Ph.D. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from GITAM University, Hyderabad in 2019, M.Tech. Degree from JNTU Kakinada in 2010 and a B.Tech degree from JNTU Hyderabad in 2007. He completed his postdoctoral research at ICSDI, UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in July 2024. He is currently working as an Associate Professor & RPAC Head in the Department of ECE, K L University, Aziz Nagar campus, Hyderabad, Telangana, India and Visiting Professor at ICSDI, UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching and research. Besides, he has published 80 research articles in highly reputable journals and conferences indexed in SCIE, SCOPUS, etc. He acts as Guest Editor for 15 SCIE & Scopus journals. He has authored/edited 6 textbooks published by Taylor and Francis’s publisher, U.K., and Wiley & Scrivener Publishing, U.K. He is a senior member of IEEE, IEI, and a fellow of IETE since 2019. He has served as a reviewer for various international journals and conferences. He has coordinated various sponsored FDPs funded by AICTE, New Delhi; DST, New Delhi; and other agencies. He has a research project worth RM 50K at UCSI University in Malaysia. He has attended various FDPs and conferences/workshops in India and abroad and has served as a speaker/session chair at several FDPs and conferences. He served as a program chair and convener for various international conferences, including ACCES and the 5G-SDECC series. He also supervised Ph.D. research scholars; two were awarded, and one submitted their thesis. He received the Best Student award during his Postgraduate tenure in 2010, the Best Research Faculty award at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology for the successive years of 2021 & 2022, and the Best Post-Doctoral Research Fellow award in 2024 at UCSI University, Malaysia. His current research interests include Cognitive Radio Networks, software-defined radio Networks, Artificial Intelligence, 6G emerging Technologies, multimedia computing, and UAVs in 5G and 6 G.
