The surface temperature was measured by Ecosystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) at a spatial resolution of 70 meters on August 27, 2020. The analysis includes buildings with cool roofs implemented in 2012 and green roofs added in 2016 in New York City.
The map shows the probability of arsenic (As) concentrations exceeding 10 μg/L in groundwater within the study area, as predicted by a random forest model. Red-filled circles represent grid locations where the model underpredicts, while blue-filled circles represent grid locations where the model overpredicts, based on Pearson residuals of the predicted probabilities for As >10 μg/L.
Trace element enrichments in surficial Avicennia marina-dominated embayment sediments of Sydney Estuary. The dotted lines show enrichment factor (EF) range from 1 to 3 which suggests ‘possible/moderate’ anthropogenic modifications, from 3 to 6 suggests ‘severe’ anthropogenic modifications, while >6 suggests ‘very severe’ anthropogenic modifications of the embayments.
