Dr. Abdullah Aydeger is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2026). His research focuses on post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic agility, 6G and O-RAN security, network security, and SDN/NFV-based defense. Prior to joining FIT in August 2022, he was an assistant professor at the School of Computing at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale since 2020. Dr. Aydeger obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Florida International University in 2020.
