Research interest
I am actively engaged in Earth and Environmental studies, with a focus on addressing environmental challenges through the integration of satellite remote sensing and geoinformatics technologies. My research primarily centers on using multi-source Earth observation satellite data to monitor and analyze forestry dynamics, agricultural landscapes, land cover dynamics, and air quality at various spatial and temporal scales. I am particularly interested in exploring how environmental processes interact with vegetation function and landscape change in the context of climate and anthropogenic drivers. My broader research interests include:
Remote sensing physical modeling and inversion
Global and regional environmental changes
Validation of satellite-derived products
Vegetation-Human-Climate interactions
Vegetation carbon-water fluxes
Aerosol-Vegetation interactions
Mining impacts on vegetation
Land cover dynamics and land degradation
Remote sensing applications in agriculture
Forest fire and their impacts on vegetation function and ecophysiology
