Dr. Amrita Das (PI) is a Scientist at the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CSIR-CLRI) in the Department of Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry. Her major areas of research include synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, flow chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.

Positions are available for highly motivated students to join an M.Sc. dissertation, internship, or Ph.D. programme (CSIR-UGC-NET or Inspire fellowship for pursuing Ph.D.) under Dr. Das, engaging them in the vast field of research in Organic Chemistry.
