                                             I have carried out PhD research work at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). My researches are focused on Understanding of crystal growth and designing of dimension controlled inorganic nanomaterials directing new photophysical and material properties.

I have received the prestigious CSIR Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship (SPMF) for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Dec. 2011 (AIR-8) & June 2012 (AIR-4) in Chemical Sciences. 

   Previously, I received an M.Sc & B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry, (Silver Madellist) from Vidyasagar University.
