Dr. Abhishek David Mukhopadhyay, SNF showed early aptitude for Science, Geo-Science and Computer Application. After completion of undergraduate studies from University of Calcutta with a specialization over Geomorphology, he pursued Post Graduation work over a specialization in Remote Sensing and Satellite Imagery form Jawaharlal Nehru University, his doctoral research focused on the Indirect Determination of the Th(n,f) and Th(n,f) Cross Sections of the Thorium Based Nuclear Energy Systems and Speciation of Uranium and Plutonium and its Technical Spectroscopy led to his appointment as a Senior Research Fellow at the Arizona State University and enrollment to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for 2026.
