I am a passionate materials scientist specializing in the development and mechanical evaluation of advanced structural materials for extreme environments. My research spans ferritic–martensitic steels, copper alloys, ultra-high-temperature ceramics (UHTCs), metallic glasses, and nanoglasses, with a core focus on understanding their deformation and failure mechanisms under complex environmental and loading conditions.
My work integrates advanced materials processing particularly spark plasma sintering (SPS) with cutting-edge mechanical testing approaches such as nanoindentation, micro-tensile/creep testing, high-temperature deformation, and large-strain experiments. These techniques allow me to probe fundamental mechanisms governing strength, creep behavior, strain localization, and high-temperature stability in next-generation engineering materials.
I aim to bridge fundamental materials science with practical engineering applications relevant to high-heat-flux fusion components, high-temperature reactors, and extreme-environment structural systems. I am equally committed to fostering a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment and mentoring the next generation of materials engineers through hands-on laboratory learning and scientific curiosity.
