1. In all tests by ML so far using the DpTek as described, the vast majority of useable Purity Flakes were extracted in 2 pulls, with the third yielding a higher quantity of sticky goo with only very minor crystal formation
2. Even after collecting old soup from several "cold pull" extractions, and performing heated pulls, little or no addtional useable crystal yield was produced.
3. However it has been noted that some of our chemists have still been yielding crystals in the third pull and beyond. Possibilities for this could be as follows:
Acidification stage was not fully completed
Insufficient solvent used for the pulls
Insufficiently vigorous shaking/mixing of solvent into the soup
As-yet unknown reasons.
Conclusion
Keep repeating the pull procedure until you're satisfied that all useful flakes have been harvested. If this takes more than 2-3, consider evaluating your procedures as mentioned above.
