Had a wonderful day at the Bedale Dog Festival, hosted by the amazing folks at Saving Yorkshire's Dogs.
I spoke to many lovely dog owners and heard their tales of the good, the bad and the ugly of dog ownership, with the ultimate goal of removing the bad and the ugly elements! It was so refreshing to have so many people care enough to reach out for some help and support for their dogs, where we could really get into the root causes of their dog's issues, giving their owner's hope, knowing that with the right approach...
Every Healthy Dog Can Be A Good Dog
It was also great to see the lovely people at Therapy Dogs Nationwide and the very talented Fanaticelle there at the show too. Fanaticelle do beautiful and unique portraits of dogs, that make great sentimental gifts or add a touch of style and woof to your home or a dog friendly space.

Today I paid a visit to Maxi's Mates Rescue and Rehoming Centre, where the wonderful staff work extremely hard to help rehabilitate dogs ready for rehoming. The work this charity does is amazing and I welcomed the opportunity to help them in any way I can.
You can find out more about their life changing work on their website https://maxismates.org.uk/ and following them on facebook https://www.facebook.com/Maxismates
I also had the pleasure of meeting with the friendly team at Feedem Pet Supermarket, where the owner kindly offered to allow me to come to store and talk with their loyal customer base about their dog training needs. Stay tuned for more details! :)
In the meantime, head over to https://www.feedem.co.uk/ to discover their vast range of nutritious, tasty treats, fun toys and more!

Bunji (my dog) and I, had a lovely day at Stewart Park today, meeting all the locals and their gorgeous dogs.
The main issues we helped dog owners with today were:
Over-excitement, separation anxiety and general fear/anxiety
There were also some enquiries about socialisation classes in the area, so i'll be looking into who runs high quality sessions at a resonable price, so I can give recommendations - and maybe thinking of doing some classes myself...watch this space! :)
I had the pleasure of meeting with Julie from the Northern Newfoundland Club, who told me all about the great work they do for the breed, inclduing welfare and rehoming for rescues. Check out their website and facebook group, links below:
