Call for Contributions
We invite interested researchers to submit contributions related to the following general themes:
DP Modeling
Standardized definition of a DP model: state transition function, cost transition function, state merging function, dual bounding function, etc.
Standardized modeling language to describe DP models allowing for the development of a standardized set of benchmark applications.
DP Solving
Present latest results on existing solving techniques and methodologies.
Identify opportunities to combine techniques from DDOpt (including propagation, relaxed and restricted DDs, compilation methods, …) and DiDP (A* search methods, dual bounding techniques, state variable constraints, …).
Broader Impact
Identify problem domains, milestones, challenges, and outreach (journals, conferences, …) that will convince a broader audience (both researchers and practitioners) to become interested in this research area.
Dedicated applications showcasing the value of DP-based model-and-solve technology for discrete optimization.
