Delhi Public School Kalyanpur started the ‘Shiksha Kendra’ in the school premises in the year 2005. The basic aim in setting up the Kendra was to help the under privileged families educate their children. Imparting education to the less privileged in a powerful tool for the upliftment of their socio-economic well being. It gives them an opportunity to have access to their basic rights of education, healthy food and weather services.

The ‘Shiksha Kendra’ has students of different age groups from class- I to class V. Different subjects are taught to them by well trained teachers namely – English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Computer and Art. Fir their overall development they are also introduced and encouraged to take part in a plethora of different activities and sports.
