CHILLER SPARE PARTS
A chiller DP switch, or differential pressure switch, is a device used in HVAC systems to monitor the pressure difference across a chiller. It works by sensing the pressure drop across a filter or other component in the chiller system and opening or closing a switch based on the set point.
The switch typically has two pressure ports, one on either side of the component being monitored. When the pressure difference between the two ports exceeds the setpoint of the switch, the switch will open or close its contacts, which can trigger an alarm or shut down the chiller to prevent damage or inefficiencies.
By monitoring the pressure drop across the chiller components, the DP switch helps to ensure proper system operation and can prevent costly maintenance and repairs.
