My name is Deb Perdue residing in Northern California in the small town of Yreka.  Inspiration for my children's books comes from a rural lifestyle and close family in Siskiyou County, where "people are kind, mountains are tall, & history tells tales to entertain both big and small".  Songwriting and cowboy poetry are also a big part of my writing process with a heart for service to my community and faith.  True stories, silly songs and teachable moments make up a variable collection that I hope will bring joy, wisdom and a smile to everyone I am able to reach with my creative works!
