As someone who loves to have conversations with people. I cherish the experience of learning about other people’s stories. I am an avid listener, which makes me a great interpersonal communicator. While attending the University of Houston, I was able to hone my skills of writing and video editing in preparation to work in any professional setting. As a writer, I wrote music blogs for CoogRadio.com covering trends within the music industry with focus of genres such as Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B. As an editor, I edited clips of sports videos that I assisted in making to post on social media as part of the sports team at CoogTV. DJ is currently enrolled in the American Journalism Online Graduate program at New York University.
