Our letter is going to the vote in many parishes and town councils across Cornwall. We will publish a regular update of those who signed it.
In the meantime, why don't you write to your local councillor to ask them to support this initiative?

Our first parish council signing the letter is Crowan parish council!
Crowan and Praze an Beeble are no strangers to the SWW sewage crisis. A significant sewage spill occurred in late 2025/early 2026, where a South West Water combined sewer overflow (SBB00980) discharged into the River Praze near Praze-an-Beeble, Cornwall, for over 140 days (3,400+ hours). The discharge was reported as nearly continuous from November 2025 into early 2026, marking a severe, prolonged incident, distinct from shorter, rain-related events.
Penryn has joined the list of signatories!
Truro City Council is voting on the motion shortly. Support your local councillors and write to them!
